Fabian Alsultany has spent his life bridging gaps. A first-generation American of Arabic and Hispanic decent, he was initiated into culture bending at birth. Dubbed by Billboard Magazine as the 'world music impresario', Alsultany is a dj/magician, concert producer, visionary and entrepreneur. As the founder of the GlobeSonic Sound System, a traveling DJ collective that fuses traditional music from the Middle East, India, Latin America, and Africa with modern electronica, he has brought the evolving sounds of global electronica to audiences around the world. He has produced, compiled, conceived and guided the creation of countless world music albums and concerts since since the early-90's, working with prime artists such as Karsh Kale, Hassan Hakmoun, Baaba Maal, Michael Franti, Zakir Hussain, Khaled, etc. He launched the live events division for Putumayo World Music and represented music industry legend Chris Blackwell (Bob Marley/U2) as Director of A&R and Festivals at Palm Pictures, signing artists and producing festivals. Alsultany is currently focused on his company GlobeSonic Entertainment, a full-service international music organization involved in the production of groundbreaking tours, shows and festivals, as well as all other facets of the industry, from record production to widescale media initiatives and progressive projects in the natural foods and yoga communities. Descended from a long line of spiritual healers,
Parashakti moved from her native Jerusalem to the
United States to pursue her life long exploration of
the healing art of Dance and Ritual. Parashakti, had
the honor of receiving teachings from Swami
Sachidananda, founder of Integral Yoga, while she
lived at their ashram in NYC and Virginia. Her yogic
lifestyle led her to the study of Native American
healing arts with the Shoshone and Lakota Indians.
Inspired by the wisdom of her elders and her native
roots, she developed a unique form of movement called
Dance of Liberation. She has worked with over 10,000
dancers from around the world, leading workshops,
trainings & retreats at the world’s leading holistic
centers. Featured on CBS & NBC morning show, Newsweek,
Village Voice, NY magazine, Yoga Journal, Jerusalem
Post & Radio, she has been acknowledged for her
compelling work, bridging the ancient teachings into a
universal modern day experience. As a SoulHealing
practitioner, Parashakti has developed her own healing
modalities that assist clients with various emotional
issues and life threatening diseases.
