Learn about Ibogaine, an alkaloid drug isolated from the iboga plant of Gabon, West Africa. Its multi-faceted medicinal usage is powerful and has gained attention over the years for opiod/cocaine addiction, other addiction syndromes, as well as illnesses. It has been used traditionally for ritual by the Bwiti in West Africa for hundreds of years. Although Ibogaine is not addictive, it is proven to strongly aid the conquering of addiction, and has anti-viral properties. Ibogaine is an illegal Schedule 1 controlled substance in the United States because of its hallucinogenic effects.

SPECIAL BICYCLE DAY CELEBRATION
On April 19th, 1943 at 4:20 pm Dr. Albert Hofmann, chemist for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals in Basel, Switzerland, swallowed the first deliberately ingested LSD.
Feeling a sense of urgency to return home immediately, Dr. Hofmann jumped on his bicycle and rode home.
On April 19th, 2007 at 4:20 pm Alex Grey will give a presentation on his painting "St. Albert and the LSD Revelation Revolution"
at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors.

J. J. Hurtak, Ph.D. is the esteemed author of Keys of Enoch, a spiritual and poetic science textbook examining the puzzles of life and issues of the future.
Dr. Hurtak is Founder and President of The Academy for Future Science, a social scientist and scholar who has written, translated, and published over fifteen books. An anthropologist/archeologist, he was instrumental in finding the "Osiris Tomb" in Egypt through remote sensing. Well-known for his provocative information ranging from evidence of UFOs to the development of a new cosmology, Dr. Hurtak also works closely with indigenous people, including the Zulu Shaman Credo Mutwa and the Xavante Indians (Brazil).
Alex Grey is a well-known visionary artist, author, and co-creator of the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (CoSM).
