Thank you for your interest in volunteering at CoSM.

Volunteers must communicate with the Volunteer Coordinator prior to arriving at CoSM. For an application, please write to CoSM's volunteer coordinator, Gary -- volunteer@cosm.org

Volunteering at CoSM is a richly rewarding experience.  Volunteers connect more deeply with the mission of CoSM and the intentional work of creating sacred space. There are many ways to contribute.

* Event Support: Volunteers support virtually every CoSM event. Event volunteers participate in a broad spectrum of behind the scenes tasks, working in teams that manifest celebrations, workshops and cultural events at CoSM.

* Kitchen Support: Good food nourishes the soul. Apply culinary talents and organizational skills to our fully functioning commercial kitchen. Set-up, clean-up and meal service all benefit CoSM and offer a rewarding enrichment experience.

* Hospitality Support: Maintaining the sanctity of our space is a service opportunity that keeps CoSM beautiful. Grey House, CoSM's "Visionary Victorian," with ten bedrooms and eleven bathrooms, is also the center of sacred gatherings and a retreat center for a global community of creative pilgrims.  Preparing the house for guests makes common spaces and sleeping quarters welcoming to CoSM pilgrims.

* Administrative Support: Not your typical office job, a sense of creative organization will serve the CoSM community world-wide.  Computer savviness, an eye for detail, the desire to learn and a cheerful attitude are essential to working in the CoSM office.

* Green Team: CoSM's 40-acres of meadows and primordial woodlands need grooming, gardening, yard work. Grounds, flowers and organic vegetable gardens are kept healthy and beautiful in each season by dedicated volunteers who prefer outdoor work.  Bring your green thumb and work clothes.

* Street Team: Members of this team are ambassadors who inform colleges and neighborhoods of events at CoSM.  If you know bulletin boards at your school, local retail store posting sites, or would be willing to flier at other events or festivals, we will send you fliers to post or hand out. Facebook ambassadors are also welcome.

* Healing Arts: Hard work appreciates healing hands. If you are a trained body worker or otherwise involved in healing arts, please contact us with your special skill that would be greatly appreciated by our staff and community.
