Allyson Grey

Allyson Grey

Allyson Grey is an artist dedicated to painting and social sculpture, art that intends to transform social systems. Her paintings represent a symbol system, an essentialized world-view comprised of chaos, order and secret writing, a body of work that has been exhibited, commissioned and sold internationally. As a social sculptor, Allyson, with her husband, the artist Alex Grey, co-founded CoSM, Chapel of Sacred Mirrors located in the Hudson Valley of New York, a radically welcoming interfaith art church.

A leader of a growing community, Allyson has been a speaker at many conferences and symposia including the Women's Visionary Congress in California, the Horizons Conference in New York City and the World Psychedelic Forum in Basil, Switzerland. With a Master of Fine Arts degree from Tufts University, Allyson has edited and co-authored over a dozen books and journals, authored countless interviews & forewords, and been an educator and muse to artists for over 30 years. allysongrey.com
