Become a Monthly Donor

Include CoSM in Your Will
Bequests (outright, residuary & contingent) are the most popular planned giving. Whether you wish to provide general operating income for CoSM to use where it is most needed or support a specific department or program, your bequest expresses your lasting commitment to CoSM. As your charitable gift is 100% tax-deductible, a bequest to the Church of Sacred Mirrors may also benefit your financial and estate-planning goals.
Name CoSM in Your Retirement or Life Insurance Plan
Assets in qualified retirement plans (IRA, Keogh, SEP, 401(k), 403(b), and ESOP) may represent a large portion of your total assets and be an important factor in planning testamentary gifts. When they go to individuals, they are subject to income tax. In contrast, as a tax exempt charitable organization, CoSM will receive 100% of each retirement dollar you give. As a general rule, if you intend to make both non-charitable and charitable gift bequests, it makes sense to consider using your tax-deferred retirement plan assets for charity and other assets for heirs.
You may also name the Church of Sacred Mirrors as a beneficiary of all or part of a new or existing life insurance policy. Depending on the type of policy donated, you may receive an immediate income tax deduction and be able to deduct any future premium payments on the policy.
