ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Join us under the November Full Moon for a three-hour creative ceremony of perception and remembrance — a participatory exploration into the nature of psyght, the inner act of seeing that bridges sound, image, and meaning. Guided by visionary artist Amanda Sage and architect-philosopher Joe Bob Merritt, this immersive session blends drawing, dialogue, and meditative sound to activate deeper layers of awareness. 

Participants will map the realms of perception — Somatic, Visual, and Auditory — and journey through the spaces of experience (Touch, Sight, Sound / Feel, Image, Talk) to rediscover how attention becomes creation. Through guided drawing, reflective writing, and collective rhythm, we will practice “taking back the track” — reclaiming the movement of mind as a conscious act of creation. This is both a Vision Train workshop and a ritual of remembering — where art becomes a mirror for the psyche in motion.

No prior experience required. Come as you are — curious, awake, and ready to see what sees.

• 6:15 PM: The Great Hall, Entheon opens for Priority Admission ticket holders. Be in your seat by 7:00 pm.
  
• 6:45 PM: 2nd & 3rd floors open for General Admission ticket holders. Enjoy flexibility in our remote viewing areas. (Please note: Seating in The Great Hall is not guaranteed. Any available seats after 7:00 PM are first-come, first-served.)
  
• 7:00 PM - 8:45 PM: Full Moon Ceremony led by Alex Grey & Allyson Grey
  

Full Moon After-Hours

• 8:45 PM - 1:00 AM: live painting, interactive art + more. Food and beverages available in the Mushroom Cafe. (Entheon closes at 11:00 PM)

Amanda Sage & Joe Bob Merritt

Amanda Sage is an artist driven to contribute to the development of regenerative culture by using painting as a tool for transformation within the individual and collective. Besides lecturing and teaching transformational painting workshops, her work has been exhibited in galleries, art fairs, museums and festivals worldwide.

Passionate about artistic social experiments, her endeavors are focused towards building, facilitating and participating in platforms designed to experiment and explore creative solutionary activism within community.

Joe Bob is interested in the intersection of the visionary arts, mindfulness, and the creative process. He believes that art making provides one with innumerable opportunities to develop sensory clarity, strengthen concentration skills, and cultivate powers of equanimity. He believes that the efforts that we as artists make in the cultivation of these skills contribute to the possibility of having direct experiences of freedom from mechanical conditioning and habitual re-actions, thus increasing the probability of intelligent, response-able, and creative activity in the midst of everyday life situations.

Your ticket includes General Admission to the Full Moon Gathering, with the option to upgrade for Priority Ceremony Seating.

Tuition also includes Day Admission to CoSM: Saturday, November 1st, 12pm - 5:30pm—before the Full Moon Gathering begins.

• Access to Facilities, grounds and self-touring Entheon
  
• Students are welcome to experience Entheon and Grey House Galleries, including both CoSM Shop & Entheon Shop. 
  
• The Mushroom Cafe is an additional gallery, an immersively muraled space with mushroom themed contributions from 19 accomplished visionary artists
  
• The Wisdom Trail offers a contemplative walk through the CoSM woods, including a labyrinth, outdoor sculptural installations by visionary artists

• 8×10” black canvas panel
  
• White chalk, basic acrylic paint & brushes
  

Bring (optional):

• Journal, pens, and an open sense of wonder
  

Getting To CoSM:

CoSM is 65 miles north of New York City and accessible by Metro North Train leaving hourly from Grand Central Station.

Things to Note:

• No pets of any kind are allowed on CoSM property.
  
• No food or open liquids are allowed inside Entheon.
  
• Coat & bag closet available for ALL backpacks & large bags in Entheon.
