2026 Oct Full Moon Workshop: Luna See with Amanda Sage & Joe Bob Merritt

October 24, 2026
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Join us under the October Full Moon for a three-hour creative ceremony of perception and remembrance — a participatory exploration into the nature of psyght, the inner act of seeing that bridges sound, image, and meaning.Guided by visionary artist Amanda Sage and artkitect-philosopher Joe Bob Merritt, this immersive session blends drawing, dialogue, and meditative sound to activate deeper layers of awareness.

Participants will map the realms of perception — Somatic, Visual, and Auditory — and journey through the spaces of experience (Touch, Sight, Sound / Feel, Image, Talk) to rediscover how attention informs creation.Through guided drawing, reflective writing, and collective rhythm, we will explore lunar vision — reclaiming the movement of mind as a conscious act of creation. This is both a Vision Train workshop and a ritual of remembering — where art becomes a mirror for the psyche in motion.

Great Wave of Transformation, by Amanda Sage & Joe Bob Merritt

Joe Bob Merritt

Joe Bob is interested in the intersection of the visionary arts, mindfulness, and the creative process. He believes that art making provides one with innumerable opportunities to develop sensory clarity, strengthen concentration skills, and cultivate powers of equanimity. He believes that the efforts that we as artists make in the cultivation of these skills contribute to the possibility of having direct experiences of freedom from mechanical conditioning and habitual re-actions, thus increasing the probability of intelligent, response-able, and creative activity in the midst of everyday life situations.

Vision Train:

A global, decentralized studio created by visionaries for visionaries, the Vision Train is a catalyst community of creatives.

For over five years, it has operated on a non-stop Zoom track—a living studio where artists around the world meet in real time to create, collaborate, and grow together. Coordinated through the Vision Train Station on Mighty Networks and guided by a dedicated community of Conductors, the Train offers shared co-working and creative activation. We share skills, amplify collaborative initiatives, and “take back the track” of attention through art-making—turning inner psyght into collective action, one train car at a time.
